Dolce&Gabbana-Eggplant Print Brooch

This eggplant print is from a Dolce&Gabanna advertisement for a dress that I found in an Elle magazine. It is quirky and fun. It's the only way I'll be able to wear D&G.  This pop-up 3D brooch is eco-friendly.  This brooch was made from magazine page images, pages from a damaged hardcover book and a cereal box. The design is embellished with six green seed beads.

The brooch is a 1 5/8" circle. Four different designs have been sewn together and folded to create a dimensional half sphere. For complete instructions, see my blog post. If you like to play with paper, you can make a brooch out of papers and designs that you like.
