DIY Paper Brooch - Vincent van Gogh "The Red Vineyard at Arles"

This handcrafted paper brooch is made with a Vincent van Gogh print "The Red Vineyard at Arles" cut from a clip art catalog. I also used magazine page images, pages from a damaged hardcover book and a cereal box. It is very eco-friendly. The design is embellished with three tangerine colored seed beads.

The brooch is a 1 5/8" circle. Four different designs have been sewn together and folded to create a dimensional half sphere. It has been sealed for durability and water resistance.  A gold 1 1/4" pin back is securely fastened to the back.

See blog sidebar for a tutorial on Cut out+Keep to make your own paper brooch. If you do not have the time, this brooch is listed on Etsy.
