This butterfly assemblage started out as a wooden ice cream spoon. I used a photo of Doris Eaton Travis (Ziegfeld Follies) that was a freebie by Gecko Galz for the butterfly's face. I think she makes a sultry butterfly! Gecko Galz have a large line of collage sheets in their online store. Check it out. The wings are from Dover Clipart. I tied black and white baker's twine around the base of the ice cream stick to give the body some texture and dimension. The flower added to her hat is from a junk mail flyer.
I am entering this altered spoon in the following challenges:
Kaboodle Doodles - #144 anything goes
Tuesday Alchemy - #39 no cards
Gecko Galz Yahoo Group - bakers twine
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
One Stitch at a Time - anything goes
Paper Crafting Journey - anything goes
Please take a look at the above mentioned sites. The design team members create wonderful works of art to spark your creativity.
