Decorative Package Clips Treat Bag

I made these package clips from standard size snap style clothespins. The images are from Gecko Galz. They are from the Domino Sheet. The tag is from the Totally Chic Christmas Sheet. Check out their site. They always have giveaways and fun contests going on.

I decoupaged the designs on with Mod Podge. I then outlined the design and painted the rest of the clothespin (front and back) with metallic gold paint. I gave them a coat of varnish to make the paper more durable and stain proof. I found some cream colored iridescent buttons in my button stash and used Ranger's dimensional glue to adhere them to the clothespin.

The clips can be used to hold a bag closed or you can use them to decorate a package. They are functional and fun to make.

I am entering these clips and gift package in the following challenges:

Allsorts - #185 Christmas Tree (on the tag)
