This art doll is one of my favorite projects for 2013. I created her for a mascot challenge going on at DominoArts. She actually won and is pictured on their website.
I created the body for this domino art doll with the following
materials: two wooden spools, a wooden clothespin, one poker chip and
one full size domino. The face and wings are collage designs from Paper Imagery Designs.
The paper hat is designer paper that I distressed with oil pastels. The
face and wings have been laminated for durability. I colored the domino
with alcohol inks and then stamped on the diamond pattern (Tim Holtz)
with permanent ink. The doll is embellished with tulle trim, alphabet
letters, black half pearls, eyelash yarn and a sequin sewn on with a
seed bead.
I am entering this art doll in the following challenges:

Bunny Zoe - wings
