Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas - Day Eleven

Day 11 of S&S 12 Days of Creepmas!

I

I used a digital stamp from Rick St. Dennis called Mr. Shadows for this altered tree. I picked up this wooden tree at the Goodwill store and used the backside for my piece today. I painted it green, distressed it with sand paper and then stamped on some spider webs. The piece is embellished with yellow dimensional paint (on candle tips), a clay skellie face and a mod melt dish with a resin star shaped cookie.

The blog roll is on the sidebar. The next stop on the Creepmas list is Lisa.

I am entering this Creepmas Tree in the following challenges:

Paper Crafting Journey - Christmas
Pink Gem - anything goes
ABC Christmas - Y is for make your own embellishment (clay skull & mod melt plate)
Digi Galore (10) - anything goes
Loves Rubberstamps - #83 anything goes
The Paper Shelter - #141 anything goes
Aud Sentiment - #96 Christmas
Stampin for the Weekend - anything goes

  3. I just love how you repurposed that tree - brilliant! That little fella is adorable ( I know he is supposed to be creepy but I find him adorable - lol). Love the skull on top of the tree too - great detail to add.

  5. Very creative use of your wooden, Goodwill find! The fun part is that when conservative Aunt Prissy comes to visit - you can just turn it around to the traditional side! Thanks for sharing your project in the “Christmas + Sentiment” Challenge.
