This mixed media art started with a blank 4x6 inch index card. Paper scraps, washi tape and various paints and inks were used to create the background. The owls are a rubber stamp design from Stampabilities. A feather was added for texture.
I would like to enter this piece in the following challenges:
We Love 2 Create - #8 mixed media (ink, acrylics, tempera and water color paints)
Colorful Options - bold colors
Crafter's Cafe - bright colors
Classic Design - #8 anything goes
As You Like It - When I do mixed media, I love to use lots of layers to create texture and dimension
Pammie's - #2436 anything goes
Simon Says Monday - rubber stamping
Penny's - #580 anything goes
As You Like It - Mixed media involves lots of layering and I love using layers for textures and dimension.
