I used the Euro Clown with Balloons digital stamp from Rick St. Dennis for this card. The image is colored with pencils and blended. The edges are inked and the clown is grunged up with black chalk. The card is embellished with diecut hearts, a pompom and glossy accents (on his eyes).

Love Hurts Heart Hanger - Bloody Valentine Hop

Day One - Smeared & Smudged Bloody Valentine Hop

This wooden heart is about 6 inches across. I painted it red and then sanded and inked the edges to distress it a bit. The image is called "holding heart" from the Smeared Ink Bloody Valentine set. I colored the image with pencils and blended. I used nail polish on the blood drips and glossy accents on the lighter part of the heart. It is attached to the design paper with foam dots for dimension.

Altered Wooden Domino Pendant - GG (DT)

Arty Domino Pendant

Products Used:
Collage Elements - Gecko Galz Arty Jewels Jewel-it

Directions:
Attach a bail to your domino. I used a heart charm attached with glossy accents.
Choose a design from the jewel-it sheet and trim it to fit your chosen domino.
Apply sealant (varnish). I use a cosmetic wedge sponge (making sure to seal
the edges). Use tacky glue or mod podge to apply the design to the tile.

Delicious Doodles Design Team Call -

I would love to be a part of the Delicious Doodles Design Team. I love the "darker" images the best but can do "cute" also. I usually participate in your weekly Friday Challenge using a Delicious Doodles stamp. I also use your stamps for other "unusual" challenges. I love to play at Smeared & Smudged, Left of Center, Haunted Design House, etc. I think you get the picture, lol! So your stamps would get some added exposure.  I like to make cards, fat pages, ATC's and tags. I am open to other suggestions and love a unique challenge theme or new technique.

I am retired and like to spend my free time crafting. I am currently on the Dilly Bean Stamps, Wicked Wednesday and Gecko Galz Design Teams.

I printed, cut out and played with the images until I had a design I was pleased with. Gothic Bride Card

I used Gothic Bride from Delicious Doodles for this card. The challenge at Musically Challenged this week is dark and gothic. I just watched the finale of American Horror Story:Coven. Stevie Nicks performed Rhiannon and it was so hauntingly beautiful, I decided to use that song as my inspiration. I created the image in PSE. The background paper was a freebie from Land of Nod. It looks like a crumpled up envelope. The card is embellished with die cuts (heart, skull, banner) and glitter.

Kiss Me Card

I used a digital stamp called "Zombie Stella" from Meljen's for this card. I used a sketch from Your Next Stamp. The card took me 24 minutes to create (10 minutes to color, 10 minutes to assemble and four minutes for the glitter to dry). The card is embellished with glitter, three pearls, ribbon, die cut hearts and a "kiss me" sticker.

Pixie Dust Bookmark - Altered Tissue Box

I went to recycle my Puff's tissue box and noticed that it was lined with silver like a mirror on the inside. What a treasure! I used a Tim Holtz die cut (Apothecary Bottles) and an embossing folder (Bubbles) to create the tag. I then used the following alcohol inks to color the tag: Sailboat Blue, Citrus Green and then Silver. What a lot of fun. The transformation is amazing. The photos don't do it justice.

The pixie is from Gecko Galz. She is from the Pixie Children collection. I added a label from my stash, a heart shaped die cut and the words "Pixie Dust" from my computer. The bookmark is embellished with eyelash yarn, glitter and two pink gems.

Valentine Treat Tag

Zombie Love ATC - WW (DT)

The Wicked Wednesday Challenge 

 this week is Zombies need love, too!

This week's sponsor is Rick St. Dennis.

Rick St. Dennis was kind of enough to share this wonderful digital stamp called "soft centers" with the Wicked Wednesday Design Team. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended. The ATC is embellished with an arrow die cut, three red gems, glitter and glossy accents on all the eyeballs. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Love Hurts Card

I used a digital stamp called Shot Through the Heart from Delicious Doodles to create this card. I just downloaded it this morning and could not wait to craft with it. My printer must be running out of ink. I like the ombre color effect I got when I printed it out. The image is lightly colored with chalks. I used glossy accents on the blood drips. The card is also embellished with ribbon and glitter.
