Smeared & Smudged Creepmas - Day Five

Happy Sunday...today is Day Five of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas!

For today's project I used a wooden snowflake that is about 12" at the longest point. My bone and skull image is a digital stamp from Delicious Doodles called Skully Christmas Wreath. I took some liberty cutting it out (yes, I am a lazy crafter), the full image has some really cool thorny boughs surrounding the skulls and bones. Check out the site for some great digital stamps.

I printed the wreath out on design paper, added some shadows with chalk and then glitzed it up with some blue and iridescent glitter. The words say "Deck the halls with skulls and bones falalalala...lalala". I've been having fun creating creepy Christmas decorations.

Now it is time to pop over to Carla's Blog to what she has created for Day Five. If you get lost, the blog roll is posted on the sidebar. Have fun!

I am entering this snowflake in the following challenges:

Desert Island Crafters - creepy Christmas+anything but a card+glitter+snow
Craft Your Passion - #139 snow
Digital Tuesday - #189 non-traditional Christmas
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Simon Says Challenge - snowflakes
Delicious Doodles - #14 anything Christmas+blue

ooh I like this. I do the same thing on cutting some of the more intricate images- they just get a little haircut! Lol. Love this!

Cool project! How cool that it's 12", I was thinking it was a tiny ornament. Love that skully wreath, fab cutting detail. The sentiment is perfect too.
