Steampunk Owl Card

I used a rubber stamp from Stampendous for this card. The owl is colored with chalks and markers. The nest is a stamp from Inkadinkado. The background paper was textured with an embossing folder from Darice. The card is embellished with ink, glitter and glossy accents.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Stampotique - #137 textured background
Jellypark - things with wings
Die Cut Divas - emboss it
Kaboodle Doodle - #213 embossing
Simon Says Monday - time
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
The Stamping Chef- #19 anything goes
Crafting by Design - anything goes
Milk Coffee - emboss it
Sister Act - #47 anything goes
The Stamping Boutique - #7 make your sentiment pop
Love to Scrap - #25 create a background

Hi Wendy,
I'd just like to start by thanking you for such a lovely comment you left on my blog.
This is great. I really struggle with steampunk. My makes always end up really dark, but you have made yours lovely with your wonderful colours. I have to say, he is a rather handsome owl!
