I used a Delicious Doodles stamp called Mushroom Fairy for this card. It is colored with pencils and blended with mineral spirits. The card was crafted with three design papers, glitter and two metal embellishments (flower & brad). The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Inkadinkadoo.

Spring Flowers Card

I created this card with a digital stamp from A Day for Daisies called a special flower. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I used my new embossing folder for the white background. The card is embellished with a butterfly and crown die cut, glitter and a rhinestone star.

Life & Death Fat Page

I created this fat page (5x5) with newspaper and paint. I stenciled the background with paints and then added a rubber stamped image of Edgar with a stamp from Smeared Ink. I used three stencils to add the square, circle and dots. I masked Edgar and spritzed with copper glimmer mist. Many of Edgar's writings were inspired by Dante's Circle of Hell. The card is embellished with a steampunk cog and a black brad.

Easter Treats - DB (DT)

The DILLY BEAN FRIDAY CHALLENGE this week is to create something for EASTER.

I created this goodie bag for my Dilly Bean design team sample this week. The stamp is #404 Bunny Suit. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I used an exacto knife to cut around the top of my bunny's head and then folded the top of my image to the back. The gift topper is embellished with glitter, green rhinestones, a bow and a fabric flower.

Vintage Easter Card

 

 Wow...lucky me...Won the Easter Challenge at Fripperies & Butterflies for March!

I made this card by blending three collage images from the Fripperies & Butterflies site. You can grab your own freebies by visiting the link. I am learning how to use Photoshop Elements to remove backgrounds, etc. so this was good practice. I also added some rubber in the corner and inked the edges of my photo. The card is embellished with design papers and a distressed silk ribbon.

Wonderland Tea Party

I created this fun digital piece with a background digital stamp from Gecko Galz. It is part of the Wonderland collection. Alice and The Mad Hatter are digital stamps from Bugaboo. I colored them in PSE. The layout was then run through special effects in PicMonkey. I am new to digital crafting. There is so much to learn and remember, lol!

Alice in Wonderland Digital Art

I have been learning how to color with Photoshop Elements. I colored this lovely Alice digital stamp from Ike's Art and then arranged her on a vintage image from the Graphics Fairy. I also discovered a free photo editing site called Befunky. In that program I added a grunge frame, photo effects and the sentiment. So much fun!

Voodoo Priestess Digital Art

I'm learning how to color with PSE and I thought this fantastic digital stamp from Andrea at Smudgetastic would be fun to color and fit into the Challenge at Haunted Design House. Their theme until the end of this week is Dante's Circles of Hell. This picture falls into the 8th Circle (fraud) with sorcerers, fortune tellers, etc.

I colored the digi and designed the photo in PSE. I then ran it through the effects at PicMonkey to get the finished grungy look. It was fun! Great challenge theme!

I created this ATC with digital collages from the Octopode Factory. The bunny girl and flower are from the Easter collection and the sleeping mouse is from the Wonderland sheet. I used a Tim Holtz stamp with purple paint on the white lace portion of the background paper. The ATC is embellished with glitter, seed beads and a white pompom. I made the bunny girl green in photoshop elements.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Tag

I created this tag with a digital stamped called I'm Back from Delicious Doodles. I put the image through Photo Shop and changed the tint from black to green. The tag and all the paper additions were cut with either the cricut machine or hand punches. The card is embellished with black tulle, a green pom-pom and polka dot ribbon.
