Mad Hatter Brooch

I used a Gecko Galz image for my brooch. The design is from the Wonderland Domino collage sheet. I decoupaged the image onto a rummikub game piece that I covered with alcohol inks. I tapped the same inks onto a playing card for a background surface. I found the flamingo cutout in my odds and ends box. I used two coats of Mod Podge Dimensional glue to set my image.

The Raven Card

I used a digi from Smeared Ink for this card. The raven is from the Quoth the Raven set. I colored the raven in PS and placed it on a page from a book. The book image is from Plush Possum Studio. I distressed the image with inks, splattering and tearing. The card is embellished with a checker game piece, feather, clear glass marble and clear dimensional glue on the raven's eye to give it some shine and texture.

Floral Card

I used a rubber stamp from Hampton Art to create this card. I used my favorite ink (Tim Holtz Distress) to stamp the flowers. I used two different circle punches for the centers of the flowers. The DP paper also has circles.

Fortune ATC

I used images from Gecko Galz collage sheets for this ATC. The tissue paper flower is a free png from HG Designs. I created the design in PS and then printed it out. The ATC is embellished with paper from a 6x6 paper pack, a shiny blue rhinestone and some purple stickles.

DominoArts 15 Days of Half-o-Ween - Skeleton Box

I decorated a box for my DominoArts 15 Days of Half-o-Ween project.

To assemble the Skeleton Box, I painted a paper mache box black and then glued on pom-pom trim. The domino was colored with alcohol inks and then stamped with a cobweb design with permanent black ink. For the face, I added a paper punched halo and a circle punched skeleton face to a black checker game piece. The arms are recycled from a plastic Halloween skeleton. I chalked the face to give it some color and shadows.

The Devil Tarot Card (ATC)

 

This card was a winner!

The challenge on Wicked Wednesday is to design a Tarot Card. It was so much fun to take a real playing card (2.5x3.5) and alter it. I used a digital stamp from Delicious Doodles called Devil May Care for this ATC. I colored it in PS and then cut it out. The lettering is from the web. Some glitter was added to his forked tail. I just bought a gel pen the other day and had fun playing with it, lol!

Love Never Dies Card

I created this heart shaped card with a digital stamp from Delicious Doodles called Gothic Heart. I printed the image on design paper and then inked around the edges with green. I glued it to a folded piece of cardstock and cut around the edges. Make sure you leave the folds at the top of the card uncut. The card is embellished with two black roses, eyelash yarn fibers and lots of glitter.

Going Batty Domino Assemblage

Check out the 15 days of half-o-ween at DominoArts this month. I created a Domino Assemblage piece for my half-o-ween project. It was so much fun!

I used a domino sized image from the Gecko Galz Spooky Jewels collection for my bat image. It is glued to an antique brown wooden domino I picked up at a garage sale. The "display stand" consists of two large dice and two poker chips. The bat is a Tim Holtz rubber stamp from the Halloween Blueprint collection. The bat is embellished with glitter, three golden half pearls and three sequins. I added some color with chalks and colored pencils.
