I used a digital stamp from Ching-Chou Kuik called Flutter Butterflies for this recycling project. The image is colored with markers and distressed with paint dabbers and gold paint. A page torn from a damaged cookbook was used as a background paper. The project is embellished with three golden yellow gems and a yellow painted popsicle stick.

I used a digital stamp from Ching-Chou Kuik called The Koi from the Circle Oriental Kimono Lady set. The image is colored with markers and ink. The design is embellished with watercolor crayons, glossy accents and sea shells.
After cleaning and drying the tuna lid, I spray painted it with flat white paint. This gives you a surface that is easy to work with. I then layered my circle diecuts inside the tin and used a paint dabber to distress the project. I am going to use this as a magnet but you could attach a hanger and use it as an ornament.
