Vintage Twinchies

Altered Playing Card Tag

I used my Edgar Allan Poe rubber stamp from Smeared Ink to make this altered playing card tag. I stamped the image onto a page from an EAP paperback. I then stamped the face onto an Othello game piece with permanent ink. I had to color in some areas with a Sharpie marker. I then tapped it lightly with an ink pad. The tag is embellished with ribbon and one of my favorite embellishments (black rhinestones). The sentiment is from my Smeared Ink EAP digi set.

POE card

I used a rubber stamp from Smeared Ink for this card. I stamped Edgar's portrait onto a page torn from a damaged Edgar Allan Poe paperback book. I crushed the rusty canning lid with my Sizzex machine. The card is embellished with an angel cutout and bottle cap letters.

Edgar Allan Poe Bookmark/Plant Stick

I created this Edgar Allan Poe bookmark/plant stick from an altered domino and large craft stick. I colored the domino with alcohol ink and then used permanent black ink to stamp on Edgar's face. The stamps used for this piece are:

wings + face - Smeared Ink Quoth the Raven set

             crown - Tim Holtz

The crown and wings were stamped on to design paper. They were laminated to add stability.  The piece is embellished with three golden rhinestones and a scrap of eyelash trim.
