Celebrate!

I used a digital stamp from A Day for Daisies called "fairywish" for this card. The image is colored with pencils and blended. The card is embellished with a banner, diecuts, washi tape, ribbon and sequins, pearls and glitter for sparkle and bling. Ribbon is one of my favorite ways to add texture. There are so many ways you can use ribbon on your craft projects.

The DILLY BEAN FRIDAY CHALLENGE

I used Emo Crystal from Just Some Lines for this card. Check out the store for some really cute digital stamps. They also have a line of rubber stamps available at Treasured Times Rubber Stamps. I colored Crystal with pencils and blended. The card is embellished with a diecut heart, a resin flower, ribbon, pearls and glitter.

Goddess Scrapling

You might be asking "What is a scrapling"? A quarter-size greeting card is typically 5.5 x 4.25 inches (the folded size). To make it into a square card, some crafters would cut 1.25 inches off the bottom. That little scrap of paper became known as a scrapling. 

I decorated this scrapling with a goddess design from Lunagirl Moonbeams. She is from the Goddess Sheet. The die cut is from Marianne Design. The rubber stamp is from Studio G (Hampton Art). The scrapling is embellished with three light green pearls.

Peacock Feathers Ceramic Tile Pendant Necklace

This Peacock Feathers Woman design is decoupaged onto a 1 7/8 x 7/8" ceramic tile from the home improvement store. It is sealed with varnish for a smooth water-resistant surface. The design is from the Arty Jewels Gecko Galz domino collection. The pendant is embellished with three mini blue gems. The backside has coordinating scrapbook paper.

Broken Hearted ATC - WW (DT)

The Wicked Wednesday Challenge 

 this week is ANTI-VALENTINE DAY!

This week's sponsor is Smeared Ink.

I used a digital stamp from Smeared Ink called Zipped Heart from the Inner Workings Set to create this ATC. The image was colored with pencils and then scanned into photoshop for some color enhancements. I went over the metal teeth of the zipper with a silver sharpie. The ATC is embellished with a die cut arrow and three gears. There is pink glossy accents on the blood drip.  My background piece was made from the inside of a silver metallic tissue box. It is embossed with a steampunk folder and sloppy washed with black paint.

The books and raven are a background paper from Gecko Galz. It is from the Nevermore Set. The triple bloody hearts are from the Smeared Ink Bloody Valentine Set. I added some extra goo with nail polish and glossy accents. The bookmark is embellished with two diecut hearts, a metal vintage hand and heart charm, a steampunk gear and eyelash yarn.

Love Hurts Heart Hanger - Bloody Valentine Hop

Day One - Smeared & Smudged Bloody Valentine Hop

This wooden heart is about 6 inches across. I painted it red and then sanded and inked the edges to distress it a bit. The image is called "holding heart" from the Smeared Ink Bloody Valentine set. I colored the image with pencils and blended. I used nail polish on the blood drips and glossy accents on the lighter part of the heart. It is attached to the design paper with foam dots for dimension.

Valentine's Day Card

I used a digital stamp from Just Some Lines for this card. The cute little heart with friends is called Emo Heart. I colored the image with pencils and accented with markers. The card is embellished with three red gems and a flower button.

I used a Delicious Doodles digital stamp called Leather & Lace for this card. The image is colored with pencils and blended. The card is based on the song "Leather & Lace" by Stevie Nicks. The card is embellished with glossy accents, glitter, a diecut banner, washi tape and a scrap of glittery yarn.

Valentine Birdies-ATC

I used a rubber stamp from Inkadinkado for this ATC. The ATC is made from the design paper scraps on my desk. It is embellished with a die cut heart (Sizzix - Primitive Hearts), a button and some pink floss.
