Steampunk Woman - Altered Playing Card (ATC)

I used a free image from Conjurer of Dreams for this ATC. You can find yours here. Mine is a little lighter in color because my printer always lightens images. The project was created with a damaged playing card that I covered with a my desk blotter paper. I used rubber stamps to create the stamped gears. Additional color was added with inks and tempera sticks.

Fancy Hat - Junk Journal Page

This junk journal page was started on a recyled calendar scrap. Color was added with water color paints. I used a reverse diecut (Darice) as a frame for the lovely vintage woman. The botanical is a diecut shape from Sizzix that was cut from a painted book page. The hearts are rubber stamped with black ink. Two metal button stickers were added for embellishments.

Frida - Mixed Media Art

I used water color paints on a plain large index card to create a background for this mixed media piece. A painted paper scrap and an orange slice cut from a magazine are were added for texture. The botanical is a rubber stamp from Tim Holtz. Splatters were made with Tim Holtz distress spritz. The Frida tattoo is from Etsy. A sticker of a metallic sun was added as an embellishment.

Wild About Nature - Mixed Media Art

I used a large index card for this mixed media piece. The background was made using a technique that used fun foam to make an impression stamp. Acrylic paint was used to create the print. Circles marks were made with paint and a bottle top. The dragonfly is ephemera from Tim Holtz. The strawberry girl is from Etsy.  Metal flower shaped buttons and a sentiment sticker were also used.
