Belly Dancer Pendant - Altered Rummikub

This pendant is being featured at Party Time Tuesday!

I altered a game piece to create this pendant. The belly dancer image is from Lunagirl Moonbeams. She is from the Faux Postage collection. She was a little too risque so I used a butterfly from the Shabby Green Sheet to make her G-rated, lol!

I attached the image to my game piece with mod podge. I then went around the edges with gesso. Then using my finger, I smeared on some yellow acrylic paint. I further distressed the design with watercolor crayons. Once everything was dry, I applied two coats of varnish. The bail is a heart charm.

I am entering this pendant in the following challenges:

Lunagirl Moonbeams - #24 sassy showgirl
Creative Moments - #39 anything goes
Creative Fingers - #29 anything goes
613 Avenue Create - #65 anything goes
Simon Says Monday - anything goes
Artistic Inspirations - #85 anything goes
Creative Souls - mixed media
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Through the Craftroom Door - anything goes

You have such a fabulous eye for creating jewelry and your pendants never cease to make me smile or be inspired or look twice and think, "How did she come up with that?" You are always so clever and it's a joy to see your submissions to our Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges!
