Puppy Love

Puppy Card

I created this card for a friend who recently lost her dog named Greta after 16 years of companionship. I don't know if her heart is ready to accept another pet into her life yet, but when she is ready there are lots of dogs needing some love and affection.

I used a rubber stamp from PSX for my puppy image. The paw prints are from Inkadinkadoo. I punched some circles out of design papers and a newspaper ad. I layered everything together and embellished the finished design with a lace heart.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Fab'n Funky - #82 animal magic
Crafting for all Seasons - #5 furry friends
Fuzzy Wuzzy - animal
Rainbow Lady - #162 pets
Stampin' for the Weekend - #13 paws for thought
Stamp Something - embellish it
Totally Gorjuss - #90 punch or die
Simon Says Stamp - newspaper
Moving Along with the Times - #108 cute & cuddly with a punch
Alota Rubber Stamps - circles

There is a lot of lovely artwork shown on the above listed sites. Take a look and you will be inspired to get creative yourself.
