Today is Day Three of SmudgeFest.
The challenge for today was called Wordy Wednesday. The challenge was to
create something using only words. It was actually more difficult than it sounds. I usually start with an image and then the words come to me...
I decided to create a tag today. I used my Cricut to cut out the tag shapes. I layered them and then did a little sewing (twice in one week). The words "Sweet Nightmare" are from the Smeared Ink, Candy is Dandy digital set. The set is a real sweet deal with 17 images. I painted the skulls with some thinned acrylic paint. I added three old metal washers from my junk drawer to give it a punk feel. The tag is rocking out olive green eyelash yarn and black and white ribbon yarn.
