I used a recycled playing card as the base for this ATC. The background is made from a painted page torn from a damaged book. The project is layered with three paper scraps, including embossed paper (Tim Holtz folder). Paints include water colors and tempera sticks. The edges are inked with Tim Holtz distress ink. The bird is from an Etsy printable.

I love this card, Wendy! I’m glad you included a detailed description of everything that you did to create it, because it’s so easy to miss things. I love the fact that it’s based on a playing card. I don’t think I would’ve noticed that right off if I hadn’t read about it, but after reading about it, it’s really cool. I love all the different elements that you used in this.
