I used the Dilly Bean Stamp #189 Megan Girlie Love Candy for this tag. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I also did some color alterations in PSE after I photographed my tag. My cherry print paper is a freebie from Bearly Mine. Click on the link to grab this great paper for your collection. The tag is embellished with glitter, a heart shaped gem, a small resin mushroom, a scrap of leaf trim and ribbon.

Little Christmas Bird ATC

I used a freebie digital stamp from Just Some Lines for this ATC. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. The ATC is embellished with a snowflake button, washi tape, glitter and a white pompom.

Fairytale Lane Tree House ATC

Merry Creepmas Card

I used a Rick St. Dennis digital stamp called Merry Creepmas for this card. I printed out the stamp on designed paper and then lightly colored some spots with markers. The edges are inked to grunge it up a bit. The card is embellished with a scrap of pompom yarn wrapped around a metal fastener.

Ornament Card

I used Dilly Bean digital stamp #161 Zombie Elf for this card. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. The stamp comes framed so I cut out the elf herself for my ornament. The card is embellished with die cut circles, a small piece of lace, a yarn pompom, glitter and a red gem. The card is folded at the top but I also put a piece of twine on it so that it could be hung on a tree.

Oh La La French Brooch

I created this brooch with an altered Memory Game piece. I covered both sides of the card with design papers. I then rubber stamped on the french design with a stamp from Hampton Art. The girl is from an unknown collage sheet (she was at the bottom of my scraps collection). I used watercolor crayons and oil pastels around the edges of the brooch. To protect the image and paper, I put a layer of clear contact paper over the top of the brooch. The brooch is embellished with a turquoise gem.

I used three Dilly Bean stamps for this weeks Design Team Project. Megan has designed a bevy of delightful mermaids. I colored the images with pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I cut out the images, applied some glitter and then heat laminated them. I cut them out again and embellished the mermaids with mini gems. They are attached to clothespins that I painted blue and then distressed with sand paper.

I created this digital card with a lot of fun elements. The flower background is a poppy from my garden. The vintage woman and butterflies are from Smeared Ink. They are from the Specimen Jar digital set. It is a great collection of butterflies, jars and vintage imagery. Check it out!

Fly Scrapling

I made this scrapling (1.5 x 4.25 folded) for a challenge going on at Rogue Redheads. It is a good way to use small scraps of paper and your smaller stamps and images. The  birdcage stamp is from the $1 bin at Michael's (no name printed on the stamp itself). It is one of my favorite stamps.

Frida is my Muse Pendant - DB (DT)

The DILLY BEAN FRIDAY CHALLENGE 

 this week is FRIDA KAHLO! 

The Dilly Bean Challenges now require that you use a Dilly Bean Image on your submission.

 

I used Dilly Bean stamp #340 Frida's sugar skull for this pendant. I colored the image and then scanned it into the computer and removed the background in PSE and pasted it onto a digital paper from Create with TLC. After I printed out the image, I covered it with contact paper (packing tape works also). I then glued it to my repurposed memory game piece with Mod Podge. I attached the image, let it dry and then cut off the excess. I held it up to a light to center the design on the chipboard. I did the same with the backside. The edges are inked with gold sharpie. Use a small hole punch for two holes and then add your jewelry hardware. Easy Peasy!

Thank you Card

I created this card with a digital stamp from A Day for Daisies called "A gift of Love". I colored the stamp with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I wanted to keep the card simple and clean so I did not go crazy with layers and embellishments. I inked the edges to "distress" it and added some glitter to the fairy's wings.

Toxic Spill Card

I used Gas Mask Girl by Smudgetastic for this toxic card. I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. The stamp in the background is from Smeared Ink (Urban Decay set). I mixed purple paint with thin Elmer's glue to make my drippy goo.  The card has 13 elements: card base, two dp's, drips, image, rubber stamped image, word, chalk, fiber, burlap, three gears.

This is the first time I have used vellum in my crafting. I like how it turned out and will be using it more often. The filigree is a rubber stamp from TCP.

Patriotic Fat Page - DB (DT)

The DILLY BEAN FRIDAY CHALLENGE 

 this week is PATRIOTIC! 

The Dilly Bean Challenges now require that you use a Dilly Bean Image on your submission.

 

I used Dilly Bean stamp #563 Stitch Monster Framed for this fat page (4x4). I colored the image with pencils and blended with mineral spirits. I used brown and black chalk to grunge up the edges, etc. I love using chalk for this instead of ink...you have more control of where it goes and you can erase it if you don't like it. The ATC is embellished with paper punched stars, glitter, a snap for his eye and a ceramic star.

Party Hat Tag

I used a digital stamp from Delicious Doodles called Emo Valentine Fairy for this tag. The image was colored in PSE, printed and then cut out. The tag is sewn around the edges with white thread. It is embellished with glitter, ribbon, a charm and a metal flower.

Garden fairy ATC

Isn't this just the cutest little fairy? She is from DigiStamps4Joy. I colored her with colored pencils and blended with mineral spirits. The ATC is embellished with glitter, lace flowers that I colored with alcohol inks and a heart charm.
