This mixed media piece started on a blank index card. Paper scraps were used to create a background (including paper from a book). The Day of the Dead woman is from Conjurer of Dreams Etsy Shop. I fussy cut around the image and used her for the focal of this piece. Color was added with coffee stains, distress sprays and distress ink. The piece is embellished with a snippet of black lace yarn and a Metallic look skeleton key.
